Eli Health System (EHS) is an emerging community global healthcare organization founded on the need to serve vulnerable populations through primary care in high-risk disease burden countries in Sub-Sahara Africa. EHS provides essential health services (EHS) in both outpatient and inpatient care, emergency service, treatment and prevention of infectious disease (Hepatitis B,C, HIV/AIDS and TB), Chronic disease, infant and maternal care, reproductive health, disability care, prescription drugs, preventive services, vaccination programs, and mental health that are indicative of improving population health. EHS has a priority to make healthcare coverage a universal right.

Eli Health System (EHS) aims to address population health in Sub-Sahara Africa in all entirety that improves the physical, mental, and well-being of high-risk vulnerable populations through primary care. EHS provides compulsory universal health coverage to patients base on need. Eli Health system (EHS) aligned with the Institute of Healthcare Improvement 2007 Triple Aim Framework; improved patient care experience, improved the health of the population, reduce per capita healthcare cost, and improve the quality of life in Sub-Sahara Africa.
EHS focuses on primary care, to strengthen healthcare delivery services in inpatient and outpatient care. The aim is to make healthcare accessible by the most vulnerable populations in rural areas and in urban slums where the majority of the population lives under $2.00 or $5 day. A low-cost model of healthcare is to deliver 24-hour emergency ambulance services to reach rural communities and those living in urban slums with little or no access to outpatient and inpatient care.
Eli Health system has built its first facility in the northern part of Liberia, West Africa which is staged to open at the beginning of March 2019. Liberia is one of the poorest countries in the world. The country has 4.9 million populations as of 2018. Majority of the populations live in urban areas but in chronic poverty, living under $2.00 a day. The country 14 years civil had destroyed the healthcare infrastructure. The lack of healthcare infrastructure and a limited number of healthcare workers, particularly in rural communities have led to many citizens confronted with a high risk of infant and maternal deaths, spread of infectious diseases, chronic and communicable diseases. The infant mortality rate in the country is about 59 per 1,000 live births as compared to 5.9 in the US.
In 2010 an estimated 0.02 physicians served nearly 1000 populations. There is a limited number of hospital and clinic in the country. An estimated 0.8 hospital beds could serve 1000 inhabitants. The health sector is understaffed. There is a dire need for nurses, midwives, and doctors. EHS aim to deliver robust essential healthcare services that are not limited to outpatient care, 24-hour emergency services, clinical and hospital care, mental health, prescriptions drugs, laboratory services, disability care, and preventive services but also training of midwives and nurses. The ultimate goal is to reduce maternal and infant mortality rate, reduce the incidence and prevalence of infectious disease among at high-risk population and manage prevalence rate through the provision of lifesaving drugs, increase access to essential drugs per WHO/country guidelines, train local healthcare professionals (nurses and midwives), promote reproductive health, reduce medical waste, increase transparency in the healthcare industry, reinvigorate inpatient and outpatient care, and reduce per capita healthcare cost.
Eli Health System serves the public domain. As a pioneer of healthcare system in low economic countries, EHS believes every patient should be treated with dignity, respect, and care. No patients should be rejected on the merit they are unable to afford the cost of care. EHS works with the local government to deliver primary care and strengthens local health departments to make reporting outbreak of contagious disease readily available. EHS believes that disease has no border, prevention and containment effort should be a priority.

Country Initiatives

EHS aim to improve the quality of life, reduce the burden of disease, make healthcare universal, portable, and accessible to all. Our initiatives are tailored to strengthen country healthcare system to be sustainable and affordable. Our universal platform on health system is commissioned in:
1) The provision of Medical services: in our organization we believe that cutting-edge clinical care should be our ultimate priority. We address the onset of disease and illness from a holistic approach. We build on biomedical intervention while at the same time being mindful of cultural differences.
2) Immunization programs.
3) Infectious diseases control one of our goals is to provide treatment for people living with HIV, Hepatitis B&C as part of our infectious disease control program.
4) Expansion of healthcare facility our model demonstrates that we expand on constructing a modern medical facility to address the need of the population we serve. We aim to deliver services on time.
5) Building local health departments health department serves as a catalyst to population health. We work from the grassroots level to develop local health departments where statistical data can be reported. Gathering data is a significant problem in low-GDP economies. Through our electronic disease reporting system, the local health department should have the responsibility to report an outbreak of disease within or less than 24 hours to the Ministry of Health (MoH) or the World Health Organization (WHO).
6) Training and hiring local staffs while we believe in experts intervention, EHS strive to hire national and local staffs. Through our national staff training and hiring initiatives, we aim to counteract healthcare workers migration. We want local and national staffs to work in their community to empower the incoming generation.
7) Provide an electronic medical record system that reduces medical waste and increase transparency in the healthcare system.
8) Provision of a 24-hour emergency hotline and ambulance emergency
